29/3/2021 :: Suez Canal Incident

Dear Customer,

Following the on-going incident in the Suez Canal, We are monitoring the situation in close contact with our local partners.Refloating attempts have been carried out by the owners of the vessel in coordination with the concerned authorities. However, many ships are currently waiting for passage.

For your cargo in transit, we are working on our schedule recovery plans after transit passage to limit delay at destination. For assistance, please email us at info@dcfrt.com.sg

For cargo yet to be loaded, we are considering alternative maritime routes, rail services or airfreight solutions. We will keep you updated as these options become available.

26/2/2020 :: GST on imported low-value goods

With effect from 1 Jan 2023, Clients are informed that GST will be extended to: Goods imported via air or post that are valued up to (and including) the current GST import relief threshold of S$400.

1/4/2014 :: Changes to Singapore Customs Export Permit Application Process

With effect from 1 April 2014, Singapore Customs (SC) requires all declarations to be submitted before the goods are exported, including non-controlled and non-dutiable goods exported by sea and air.

This is known as Advance Export Declaration (AED).For self-declaring shippers, do note that permit is required 8 hours before the flight departure time or by 1745hrs (whichever is earlier) in compliance to AED implementation.
